Bags of flair
  • Take a walk on the wild side... 19 October 2016 | View comments

  • Is the jute bag still considered an essential item? After all, it has been over a year now since the carrier bag tax came into effect and we have all had to adjust to buying carriers in whichever store we find ourselves in or indeed go prepared and take our own.

We believe our jute bags do offer something different to the norm, they are not just for shopping. Many of our customers are purchasing them for use as lunch bags or school PE bags...why...well quite simply, our bags have a zip fastening, no lunch will end up all over the floor. Being made of jute, a natural plant fibre, they are hardwearing so ending up somewhere on the floor in the school cloakroom won't do it any harm.

Refreshing & developing new designs is really important to us and tapping into trends is ok after all its what every supplier does but we like to take inspiration from home, from friends & family, from interests and hobbies and from the great outdoors speaking of which our latest designs see us taking a walk on the wild side and exploring family love. We have focused on 2 of my favourite wild animals, the elephant & the giraffe and are looking forward to bringing you 2 more jute bags designs which should arrive with us just after the school half term if not before so keep your eyes peeled.
